The civil division of the Court of Appeal is usually bound by its own earlier decisions and those of the House of Lord/ the Supreme Court, unless:
Two of its previous decisions are in conflict (It must decide which to follow); 沖突
The previous decision is overruled by the Supreme Court (conflicting with a subsequent Supreme Court decision);取代
The precedent was made through lack of care/carelessly (per incuriam) 疏忽
